We’ve come a long way since launching our first version in 2018. To keep offering the most innovative features, we’re making some big changes here at IQ Hashtags.
We’re moving away from our previous freemium model and introducing a new 3-day free trial available for all plans.
Building IQ Hashtags has been an exciting journey, and along the way, we’ve gained many amazing, ambitious customers. Our goal is to make the transition to the new model as smooth and stress-free as possible for you.
Sometimes change can be challenging, but it’s a natural part of growth! IQ Hashtags has evolved tremendously—we’ve upgraded our infrastructure and added exciting new features that expand the tool’s capabilities (have you seen our Reels Metrics feature? ✨).

Additionally, IQ Hashtags is now officially approved by Instagram.
Instagram has recognized us as a tool leveraging powerful technology that works seamlessly with their platform.
This is a HUGE honor, and we’re excited to offer you a deeper, more extensive integration with Instagram. This approval confirms that IQ Hashtags meets the highest industry standards for data analysis and information security. Additionally, our tool was reviewed and authorized by rigorous, independent META auditors.
To continue delivering a world-class Instagram analytics platform, we’ve made some updates to our model.
Here’s a quick overview of what’s changing!
💡 What’s Changing and How It Affects You
We used to offer a free plan for many years. However, the number of users we serve has grown significantly! As a result, IQ Hashtags has evolved tremendously, now offering exclusive analytics features that bring even more value to our customers.
To ensure high-quality service for everyone — and due to rising server costs over the years — continuing to offer a free plan is no longer sustainable.
The 3-day free trial replaces the previous free plan!
We’re introducing a new 3-day free trial for all our plans! This trial lets you explore any IQ Hashtags paid plan at no cost for 3 days. During this time, you’ll have access to almost all the features included in the plan you choose (except for the Shadowban Check and Banned Hashtags in posts, which are only available after starting a paid subscription).
How cool is that?
From now on, when you create a new IQ Hashtags, you can sign up for any of our paid plans. After that, you’ll have 3 days to try out all the features included in the plan you select.
It might be helpful to check out our plan comparison—it can guide you in choosing the best option for your needs. Plus, you’ll only pay for the features you actually use.
While we’re confident you’ll love our advanced analytics features, we understand that many users want to try before they buy — and that’s completely understandable. That’s why we’re big fans of free trials too!
💡 Just a heads-up: You don’t need to cancel the trial before it ends. It will automatically expire after 3 days and won’t switch to a paid subscription on its own — unless you choose to end the trial early by purchasing access to features available only in the paid version of the tool.*
*The only exception is if you manually start a paid plan during your trial period. This can happen if you access premium features like viewing banned hashtags in your posts or using the Shadowban checker. Starting a paid subscription during the trial is like starting a regular (paid) subscription in the tool.
If you have already started your plan, you can cancel it to prevent automatic renewal in the future.
- Go to your Account Settings.
- Select the Subscription tab.
- Click the Cancel subscription button.
Can I change my plan mid-subscription?
