How to get Facebook access - New Pages Experience

If you could not grant necessary permissions to a Facebook Page while authorizing IQ Hashtags, you might not have appropriate Facebook access to that Page.

To complete the IQ Hashtags authorization process, you’ll need full or partial control of the Facebook Page.

NOTE: Only a person who has Facebook access with full control can give you the appropriate Facebook Page access.

What do you need to do?

Verify who has full control over the Facebook Page.

Step One

Tap your profile picture and switch to the Page you need to get partial/full control of.

Step Two

Tap the profile picture of the Page and select Settings & Privacy.

Step Three

Now, go to Settings.

Step Four

Select New Pages Experience in the settings menu.

Step Five

Look at People with Facebook access. The person who can manage Permissions for the page is the person with full control of the page.

All you have to do now is to ask the person with full control to give you Facebook access with full or partial control.

What a person with full control of the Facebook Page needs to do to give you Facebook access with full or partial control?

Step One

Follow the same instructions that led you to New Pages Experience in the Page settings, and hit Add new button next to People with Facebook access.

Step Two

Click Next on the screen, explaining what a person with Facebook access can do.

Step Three

Enter the name or e-mail address of the person you would want to give Facebook access to (a person with full control needs to enter your details here).

Step Four

Decide if the person should have Facebook Access with full or partial control. It’s important because a person with full control can give access to others, remove anyone from the Page, or even delete the Page.

To complete IQ Hashtags authorization, you only need Facebook Access with partial control. If you want to continue with full control, use the toggle button, and click ‘Give Access.’
